hey, I’m Lavinia Ruf.

I’m a 24 year old artist based in Berlin. My family originates from Romania, but I grew up in Yorkshire England.

Art was always a part of my life. Fresh out of high school, I took a curious hiatus and graduated with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Design Engineering at Imperial College London. After that scientific endeavour, I moved to Berlin and returned to my first true passion - painting! Now I have been pursuing my creative journey here for the past three years.

My work is deeply inspired by the beauty of nature and subjects of healing. With my art, I intend to tell stories of restoration through personal and unique memories surrounding objects and our environments - whether in the comfort of our homes, or in the depths of nature.
